Greenville Swap Meet Logo

Hand drawn in Rebelle 7 Pro on a Surface Pro 8 (i7, 16gb RAM) with Slim Pen 2. Vector built in CorelDRAW 2020.

One of the Greenville Car Club members has a beautifully restored 1931 Ford Pickup. He and his wife have been vital members of the club for decades, and as they age, his health is declining. The Swap Meet board wished to honor him and his contributions to the club, so when they wanted a new logo for the Swap Meet, they chose his truck to be the mascot.

I regret that I was unable to take my own reference pictures and tell this couple how much I admire both the truck and their contributions over the years, but several were provided to me from the deep well of pictures taken at events and for the club calendar, and I’ve seen it a few times in person at shows I was able to attend.

This project was a little different from the highly technical illustrations I’ve been working on recently, as they wanted a more playful vibe.

I did the initial sketch and inking in Rebelle, then brought it into CorelDRAW to make it a vector.
