When I needed an image of myself for the front page of this website, I decided to stretch my skills and do a self portrait. I was going for a friendly and confident vibe, because that’s how I am in real life!

I’ve been working on learning watercolor, and spent a long time experimenting with it to try and paint the skin, but finally ended up going with the acrylics I’ve been using instead. The shirt is watercolor and I do think it came out well!

I also decided that both the shirt and jacket being green was too much, so I changed the jacket color after I was done painting it.
